一系列“被”动词近些年来频繁见诸报端，被就业、被平均、被自愿。如何用英语表达并非出于本人意愿的这种“被自愿”呢?

 

 

Voluntold means to be told to volunteer for something; compulsorily or forcibly volunteered.

“被自愿”即被要求从事志愿活动，被迫自愿服务。

Example：

I was “voluntold” to be Santa Claus.

我“被自愿”地当了圣诞老人。
