纽约上西区被偷的蜥蜴安全回家

An Upper West Side bearded dragon lizard swiped from a pet shop last month has been found, the NYPD announced Thursday.

纽约警方周四宣布，上个月在上西区一家宠物店被偷走的一条大胡子蜥蜴已经被找到。

Beloved pet Sandy was being boarded at Petqua on 98th Street and Broadway while her family, the Shapiros, were away over Memorial Day weekend when she was stolen by a pair of hooligans.

宠物桑迪住在佩特卡第98街和百老汇街的交叉口，美国阵亡将士纪念日周末，桑迪的家人沙皮罗一家外出度假，两个小流氓把她偷走了。

“We are happy to report that stolen bearded dragon, Sandy, is now back at PETQUA & will soon be reunited with the rightful owner,” the NYPD 24th Precinct tweeted.

Cops said two officers spotted the thief walking and “took police action.”

Mom of two Sandy Shapiro had offered a $1,000 reward for Sandy’s safe return.
