Mr. Lovejoy: Go on. I'll keep an eye on him.

Seaman: Aye. Right.

Bride: Sir! Carpathia says they're making 17 knots. Full steam for them, sir.

Captain: She's the only one who's responding?

Bride: The only one close, sir. Says they can be here in four hours.

Captain: Four hours! Thank you, Bride. My God.

北京电影节卡梅隆最红

卡梅隆的《阿凡达》掀起了全球3D风潮，他把15年前的《泰坦尼克号》用3D包装，同样震撼视听。这位热衷技术活儿的导演被尊称为“3D电影教父”。在24日举行的第二届北京国际电影节相关论坛上，卡梅隆畅谈了他对3D技术的认识。

在卡梅隆看来，3D技术的创新是未来的发展前景，但要用正确的态度来对待。卡梅隆说：“有些3D技术掌控者会说，你们不懂3D，必须依靠我们帮忙才行，这是不对的。对整个产业有利的态度是，一起共享3D，而不是设置壁垒。”

第二届北京国际电影节期间，恰好《泰坦尼克号》3D版在中国热映。卡梅隆成了电影节上最耀眼的星，他的一举一动都引人注目。媒体对他的专访被“切割”成每15分钟一场，谈论的内容，一词一语都与3D相关。

“此次来北京，希望寻找到与中国电影人合作的机会，尤其是提供3D技术支持。”卡梅隆说。目前，他的团队已确定担任《孙子兵法》3D监制。卡梅隆还在与张艺谋的会谈中透露，如果张艺谋愿意，可合作拍摄3D电影。

卡梅隆对3D技术的追求堪称苛刻，不过在他心中技术并不是最根本的。“3D只是服务于电影创作的一种工具，属于技术手段，真正决定一部影片成败的，仍是好的故事与创意，这取决于创作者的思想和观念。” 卡梅隆说，“技术手段是为更好地演绎故事、提升艺术效果服务的。”

《阿凡达》的成功让卡梅隆成为“3D电影教父”。在北京期间，每有媒体这样称呼他，卡梅隆总会解释，“其实我大部分工作和3D无关”。他说自己大部分时间都在选演员，写剧本，设计场景、人物、色彩，还包括拍摄、处理音效等。“3D只是为观众提供一种更加高级的观影体验，是一种增值行为。导演作为一名故事叙述者，那些基本工作没有任何改变。”卡梅隆说。

对于3D市场，卡梅隆有充分信心，此次北京行让他更认识到中国市场的“慷慨”。他说，中国的3D有着无尽的前景，尤其在广播电视方面，因为中国是一个电视大国。而且中国整个影视产业正在进入黄金时期，3D内容会被越来越多的观众所接受，当务之急是要制作更多高质量的3D内容满足观众需求。
