　　1too…to…用法详解

　　1.当too后所接的是glad, kind, ready, easy, pleased, willing等词时。

　　如: I am too glad to get such a gift.

　　我很高兴能得到这样的一个礼物。

　　You are too kind to help me.

　　你帮我真是太好了。

　　She is too willing to marry him.

　　她很愿意嫁给他。

　　2.当only,quite等词位于too之前时,too相当于very, too后的形容词多是表示人心情的形容词。如: She is only too excited to get so much money.

　　得到那么多钱,她很激动。

　　I was quite too angry to miss the first train.

　　错过了第一班火车,我很生气。

　　[友情提示] too... to...结构与It’s too... to do sth.句型的区别:

　　在It’s too... to do sth.句型中,it作形式主语,真正的主语是不定式to do sth., to do sth.表示肯定意义。

　　如:It’s too easy for you to do the job well.

　　对你来讲,做好那项工作很容易。

　　It’s too difficult for the old to climb up the mountain.

　　对老年人来说,爬上那座山太难了。

　　2too...to... “太......以至于不......”

　　这个结构中虽然没有not，却表示否定含义，这 too的作用有关系：too是一个副词，意思是“太”我们用到“太”的时候，往往是“超出了某种限度”，后面的to后面是动词原形，表示不能做的事。

　　You are too young to see this film.

　　你太小了，不能看这部电影。

　　He is too busy to stay with his children.

　　她太忙了，没有时间陪孩子。

　　Never too old to learn. 活到老学到老。(对学习来说，再老都不是事儿。)
