On December 30th local time, the International Organization for Migration released a report stating that since the outbreak of armed conflict in Sudan, over 7.37 million people have been displaced, of which over 5.85 million have been internally displaced in Sudan, and approximately 1.52 million have crossed the border to seek refuge in neighboring countries such as the Central African Republic, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, and South Sudan. The report states that the most urgent need currently faced by displaced persons is food, followed by healthcare services.
