1. fix Eric up with my sister: 把我妹妹介绍给艾瑞克。fix somebody up with somebody/something意思是“给某人安排……；帮某人介绍……”。

2. thimbleful of: 一丁点儿。看一下例句：

Breakfasts consist of nothing more than a thimbleful of coffee or chocolate and a morsel of bread.

早餐不过是一丁点儿咖啡或者巧克力饮料再加一小块儿面包。

3. toned: 健美的。例如：You just need a healthy, toned body and a confident attitude. （你需要的只是健康结实的身体和自信的态度。）

8. Armenian: 亚美尼亚语。

9.come around: 改变立场，觉悟过来。例：Most vendors have come around to recognizing that this is the most reasonable approach.（大部分厂商已经觉悟过来，认识到了这是最合理的途径。）
