飞机在天上，到底是in the air 还是on the air?

in the air

说到 in the air ，那就是飞机在天上飞。

例：

There is a plane in the air.

天上有架飞机。

on the air

我们常说的 on the air 指的是电视，广播等表示正在直播。

例：

Three，two，one，we're on the air.

3,2,1，我们开始直播。

clear the air 打消疑惑

clear清除，air空气，连起来to clear the air清除两人间不愉快的气氛，其实就是“消除隔阂”的意思。

例：

看时间 tell time

看时间，英文怎么说?很多小伙伴会用watch time ，see time 来表达，但正确的表达是 tell time ，tell在这里不止有告诉的意思，还有知道，辨别的意思。所以，tell time 就是根据钟表来辨别时间。

dog's life 寒酸狼狈的日子

老顾客 regular customer

英文表达中，说老顾客不会采用old customer 这个说法，而是用regular customer，表示常客。
