我写了一本关于制造钟表的书……人人都说it was about time(差不多挺是时候的，那是关于时间的书)。

about time：关于时间，about介词：关于;

about time：大约是时候了，about副词：大约。

arms control：军备控制。讽刺一位美国总统很无知，认为那是控制胳膊臭味儿的腋下除臭剂。

Mindy：真的?谁求婚?

Madge：我的爸爸妈妈。

父母ask(要求)她赶紧结婚，而不是男人ask for marriage(求婚)。
